Anyone running tubeless road tyres?, after some pointers to whats decent, for Mrs SR’s bike, came with giant gravia slr but both are wrecked( to use tubeless)after pothole interfaces, front one damaged today just above bead, same as the rear tyre.holds air but not at +60 psi.

Schwable Pro One is the default. Probably on 30% off somewhere. Easy to fit (in my case) and holding up well after 500km

I’m running Maxxis Padrones with no complaints.

Schwalbe pro one. Easy to fit and get up tubeless. Been going well for a good while now.

I’d argue against pro ones – depends where she rides but I had loads of flinty cuts in mine and they’re too thin-walled to hold a sealant strip (or a jizzy plug) IME
The older “one” was heavier but better for it IMO

Schwalbe Pro ones are great to start with but I don’t think they last very well. I think they are a bit lightweight and need more puncture protection.

Once they get a hole in they mine don’t seal again as they run above 60 psi
