I doubt many are better in terms of shifting. Shimano seem to last quite a while too
I’ve used stronglight – cheap but not quite as quick-shifting

Controltech do chainrings for road bikes, as do blackspire, both on CRC.

    Hello guys,
I need to replace my 50 tooth shimano chainring on my roadie, just wondering if anyone has had experiences or recommendations on after market rings, not really sure what is out there that is better than the shimano straight replacement?
I’ve seen TA and strong light, and FSA but that’s about it.
    Cheers!
