MOOTS!
Look at weightweenies if you would like a good idea of the best stuff out there for road bikes. There are some cracking bikes on there and some just make my jaw hit the floor.
My uncle's bike is an R5ca with Di2, Mavic CCU tubs, fibrelyte cages, rings, and jockey wheels and then topped off with KMC X10sl and Recon ti cassette. 5.6kg and VERY pretty.
However, once note of caution is that the headset is a total b*tch: the PTFE bearing it rides on is temperamental to say the least and the adjustment process as it beds in, requiring additional shims every couple of 100kms is a bit of a hassle. Mind you, he just gets the mechanic to sort it so it's not like he loses any sleep over it...
if you want any real advise on a build email me at bruce @ 4crosswheels.com and ill be happy to peice together a build for you

alternatively, you could just walk into Bike Lab in Poole, pull you pants down, bend over and proceed to get rogered senseless with full retail price exotica.
I'd have an indy fab 953 tubing with di 2 kit and dt 190 hubs
that'd be for going to the shops and then that uber cervelo for poncing about in my rapha imperial kit
The answer is obvious, it's got to be an Orange 5...
Unless I was racing I wouldn't use tubs no matter what the budget. The best carbon clinchers at the moment seem to be zipps.
An R5Ca won't be any faster than the S3. If I were getting a bike for its looks it wouldn't be a cervelo.

I would too, or just std DAce, but would that be enough if your budget is unlimited? Wouldn't you still be thinking 'i could have better' and be trapped in that cycle of consumer doubt?
953 / DAce is my dream road bike, i'd stop there and be grateful everytime i rode it. But that's me, not a chap with 20k burning a hole in his expensive pants.
Custom 953 is one thing i would happily spend good £ on - that thingy Penn chap ('it's all about the bike' book) had 100% the right idea on the frame. On much of the bike actually, imo.

Jameso, that's the hack bike if we're on unlimited budget
There prob is a danger of going higher and higher with the kit but i'd be sex wee in my pants happy with that bike and end up spending great chunks of money flying it round the world to ride it in different places. Ah well I can dream
This bike for me -

But would swap the groupset for Campag
Slightly OT, them there Lightweights,
little story attached to those, if I may.. Once the Z5 was ordered I'd already taken the 7900 off my Orca and decided to fit that to the Z, well my mate was off to USA for a shoot (he's a model, yup one of "those") anyhoo's he was shopping around for some bike bits and came up with 2 sets of them there Lightweights, I bought a pair cos' at the time they were uber bling and supposed to be good. Well I'm not dissing them, they're good if you can keep on top of them (hahaha( The FFWD's were bought in Belgium whilst there last year doing the P-R Sportive, seemed like the right thing to throw on the Z whilst there and the Lightweights stayed in the van, couldn't trust them see.. But I've some decent Reynolds too.. never tried the Zipps nor Enve but both look mucho coolio.. And BTW the FFWD's have yet to be trued up this year... ha, I'll probably bust a spoke this w/e saying that..
Look 695 without a doubt in my mind.
