Worth buying if you have the first edition? Has much changed in this new one? I'm just about to order the Lakes one and I'm thinking of getting this new second edition at the same time.

Dunno if it has changed much as I've nothing to compare it with, but I do believe that it has improved mapping, updated text and 1 or 2 extra routes.

Updated photos mostly from what I saw in a quick flick through it.
Maps are a bit clearer too.

I think they are actual OS maps now rather than re-drawn ones. They do look much clearer. Still unsure whether to 'upgrade' though.

Not worth it if you live in the area. A bit of inspiration but nothing you wouldn't have already known at a guess
