They have an amazing ability to move out of harms way in a crash.

I have had dainese knee/shin pads too really nice (but a bit bulky)
I now have g-form both elbow and knee, and I wouldn’t want anything else now they are fantastic

I had the 3x elbows and as above they seem to run and hide at times.

Missus got the IXS assault and they seem much better, proper velcro and fit 🙂

Dainese stuff really doesn’t feel well attached, IMO they trade too heavily on their name not their quality.

POC’s Bone elbow pad is the best I’ve used, if you want an alternative. Not too enclosed or restrictive, all-day comfy, and very protective. With most smaller pads the straps and sock are fighting the natural shape of the pad, with POC the pad is shaped to go in the right place and stay there, so the straps and sock don’t need to work so hard. Simple but effective.
