I love the ‘humming and whirring’ bit too.

Given the target demographic of the DM, 60+, I don’t think it’s that unreasonable to add that caveat.

The cloud is currently humming and whirring its nuts off as 1000s of DM readers are desperately typing ‘naked celebrity cloud’ into Google.

I can’t believe I am defending the DM, but what I mean is I have elderly relatives, who unless told otherwise, would assume the cloud was an actual cloud.

I was more surprised they all have naked photos of themselves…..

Quick! There’s a bit of cummulonimbus over there that looks like Peter Andre’s bum.

Not an actual cloud??? I thought that was why I could not upload yesterday (when it was clear and bright) and yet today I have more storage (when it is overcast).

Doesn’t everyone? Who’d have thought uploading your pictures to the internet would leave them vulnerable.

Can I just point out that some of our senior IT Architects, have found this piece of advice very useful indeed.

Next week I’ll be showing them what a computer looks like. [1]

[1] On the outside, the inside is probably a bit too scary for them.

So this week Cameron Diaz is releasing a film where the story line is that her husband accidentally loads a sex tape to iCloud. Also this week there is a massive exposure of neked Hollywood celebs after their neked pictures are uploaded to the iCloud.

What fortunate publicity for the new film! I’m not seriously suggesting a conspiracy but the film producers must be thrilled!

Wait. What? Cameron Diaz is in the naked cloud too!

It’s like the sidebar of shame on steroids. Steriods that turn you naked.

I saw somewhere they referred to 4chan as an individual “hacker”. Idiots.

Again. You l33t h@x0rz are not the intended audience. If they went into the exact detail of what 4Chan/AnonIB was, then well…there would be more confused DM readers than usual.

I’ll have you know young man that 60+ is probably the age group first exposed to “mass” IT. We are well aware of what it’s about.

I doubt they’ll even know what a video recorder is., you might as well ask them to help with your typewriter.

DM readers know all about 4chan, it’s that TV channel that constantly pedals filth disguised as documentaries about support groups for muslamic gypsy swans.

Easy enough to describe it as an online community rather than an individual hacker though. Not too hard to differentiate and means you don’t get mocked all over the internetz

I looked at 4chan for the first time today – hence the number of gifs I have submitted to the gifs thread here 🙂

Nope you have lost me. A community is where people chat and stuff, why would you go online to do that?

Think of it as IS for spotty oiks with no real beheadings, only virtual ones.
