Anyone got any great suggestions for daily amusement fixes? Dilbert and xkcd taken as standard of course...

+1 for Ctrl Alt Del, if you're into gaming. Updated Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Hyperbole and a Half - I've seen grown men crying with laughter over this blog. I particularly recommend the post"Dogs don't understand basic concepts like moving". Sadly not updated daily.

Excellent selection. Ctrl-Alt-Del was great and Sluggy looks good for a late evening read through a story.
Off to check our Penny Arcade now..

Daily Mash T-short collection is especially fine. Does anyone here actually own one though

Thanks for that. I read this back when if was first published, and promptly forgot what it was and have never been able to find the site again. Win.

Frazz
On the basis of one strip; did Calvin (of "& Hobbes" fame) grow up?

All good suggestions so far, xkcd, c&h, cad, but smbc is by far my favourite. Brilliant mix of philosophy, science, boobs, religion, and dick jokes.

smbc is looking like a winner

Raiding my bookmarks,
Ctrl-Alt-Del you've all said.
Edible Dirt is a series of (usually questionable) single-frame cartoons. Sorta like a twisted Far Side.
Least I could do is an ongoing plot arc strip which is really funny. You kinda need to start at the beginning for it to make any sense though. See also, Questionable Content; not laugh-out-loud funny per se but an endearing geeky soap-opera of a strip.
Darths and Droids is Star Wars rescripted by a fictional Dungeons & Dragons group, but much more well done than you'd think.
Dark Legacy is basically a World of Warcraft spoof. Hysterical if you've played it, pointless if you haven't.
OGLAF is, ah, really really not safe for work.

That's a recognised phenomenon, it's the User Friendly Productivity Virus.

+1 for Pearls Before Swine & Happiness and Cyanide

Cougar you git. Just wasted hours reading the back issues of Darths and Droids. Now I'll never make my deadline!

I'm stunned that no one has mentioned this gem yet: http://www.schlockmercenary.com/
Good artwork and a huge plot

Used to like Pearls before Swine but gave up eventually.Posted 5 months ago # -
I've really got into this, it's only weekly but is gloriously surreal whilst actually having a story to it, as it's just turned out...

Did you fall down the rabbithole where they tangent off into alternate cartoon strips?
Posted 5 months ago # -
Thankfully I stuck to "Revelation of the Sith".
Otherwise I'd still be reading!
