I’ve never used 25mm tyres and (don’t laugh)I’m under the impression that they ain’t just 2mm wider than my 23mm tyres. The reason I ask is that the steel frame I’m knocking up for audaxing on has really tight spaces up front, far far tighter than my PX’s.
Should have taken a piccy I suppose.
They’re Simocini Genius forks if that helps, the backs fine and I suspect these aren’t the original forks.

The same is true of their width then?

Not all tyres are created equal as well. I’m using some 25mm hutchinson intensive tubeless road tyres at the moment and they are narrower than the 23 gatorskins that was on before. and shorter.

    and faster 🙄

So 23/25 is there anything in it, and don’t say 2mm. Bearing in mind they’re for a steel road bike.

sad reality is you take two tyres from two different manufacturers mount them on the same rim and even though they might both say 700×23 they will probably not be exactly the same in any dimension. All you can do is buy a tyre and see if you like it,
