Has any body else noticed that it is really poor at the moment?
I have a Dab radio in my van and there are normally hardly any dropouts.
At the moment it is almost unusable, constantly cutting in and out.
It’s not the radio, I spent today working in Surrey where it was perfect – as soon as I started heading home in Hampshire it was cutting out again.
I hope they fix it before the Ashes start…

Are you charging something from the 12v? Knocks my FM reception out and I’ve even tried those Fara-thingy magnets to loop the power lead through.

It’s a breakdown assistance van (the yellow ones), so it has a ton of electrical stuff going on all the time.
It’s never been a problem before.

I never used to have issues with the DAB in my car, just using the little wire screen antenna that came with the radio, but recently I’ve noticed the radio dropping out regularly where it didn’t used to.
Also, a friend of mine who has a hotel/restaurant out the other side of Castle Combe, and she can get hardly any DAB reception now.
I can only assume that signal strength is being cut back, for whatever reason.

has been quite shit today in my house

(also, always generally poor in the M27 corridor between soton & pompey – if they can’t get a **** busy motorway sorted then they’re not trying at all IMO)
