The bloody Dyson has finally died and would be uneconomical to repair (new motor and hose). “She” wants another Dyson, “he’s” read that Miele are pretty good as are Bosch (“She” says “she doesn’t want to go back to bags”).

Miele cat & dog for me, bags aren’t cheap but last for ages & does a fanastic job of cleaning (make sure you get the 3 different [‘turbo’] head attachments).

    lots of arguement about it…

Do a wee search…miele and oreck, simple devices not overbuilt or overmarketed. They work.

Do a wee search…miele or a henry or an oreck, simple devices not overbuilt or overmarketed. They work. Bagless is a waste of time with foosty smelly filters that dump the crap all over the floor when you empty them.

Dyson do a fixed price service which includes all the required parts. Give them a call and they will explain in full and send an engineer to your house. The call centre is open today.

Replaced the motor on our DC07 Dyson yesterday.
Cost me all of £23. New hose is a tenner.
