Commuting everyday through winter. Normally a wear baggy sorts until it gets cold. My old altura trousers are fit for the bin so looking for a recommendation. Ideally light, a bit windproof, don’t soak up water (zymes), not tights but not baggy either – adjustable right calf and ankle black (so no DH pyjamas).

Anything good. Endura have a few that look ok but not a lot else out there that isn’t very expensive of more casual than cycling.

I wear tights when it is really cold or wet but generally prefer/like to have trousers for commuting. SLightly more acceptable when I arive on site, go to the shops and have pockets for pass, keys etc.

Out of interest why the roadrunner over the lightning?

Is it due to the fabric?

Ton, that was me. Glad you like them. I came on here to post about them!

Edit – I use Montane Terras for cycling with the dog. But that’s because I have a pair of them already

How do they compare to humvees?
They were sweaty and not warm all at the same time.

What’s the sizing like on those Keela trousers? Generous or honest?

In the spirit of recommending what you own, I’ve been wearing Showers Pass Rogue trousers for two years now, and they are great. I wear them for everything, including hill walking, rock climbing.

    New Pearl Izumi Versa trousers?

No experience of them but worth a look. Pinkbike just gave them a good review.
