I really want to buy some specialized s works road shoes. I’ve already got one of their pairs of mtb shoes, in a size 42, and its really comfortable.

However, I can only get the size 43 cheap in the road shoe. I’ve tried it on, and it feels secure, just that there is a fair amount of room between my toes and the end of the shoe.

Will I die if I buy the 43? Or is it worth an extra £40ish to get the 42?

Does anyone have any experience in this matter?

If your feet move back and fore in the shoes, chances are they will rub, and if you rely on tightening the straps too much to make them secure your feet could go numb, get the right size imo.

Edit – but i don’t think you will die if you get the 43.
