    Need to get some sort of medical ID, should the worse happen whilst out on the bike. Thinking of the silicon ones (like Help For Heroes ones). Anyone got anything similar and where from?

    This might help. I’m sure Google could easily find a UK stockist for you. Some of the contractor companies at work use the helmet stickers, and I’ve seen MTBers with the same.

    I use one of these road ID ones.

    It has a silicon band, and a really secure clasp. Really comfy, and gives the Mrs peace of mind when I’m out.

    I like the helmet stickers;

    It means I don’t accidentally leave it at home, it’s an extra bit of reflectiveness and hopefully easy to spot.

    What if you’ve just borrowed that helmet? 🙂

    Look at roadid.com. Really well made and quick shipping from the states and should be exactly what you are looking for…

    I think my name may have at one point been in my helmet after one of Phil’s Swinley Parties.

    Other than that unless I’m unlucky enough to die and then be robbed they can just check my wallet.

    Why not just take a phone or a bank card with you?

    ICE is not needed

    I have an ice app on my phone allows rescuers to see a picture of me, a description of me my medication and allows the rescuers to dial designated people from the lock screen

    Edit: Miss read, just thought you wanted ICE, not some thing that notes medical conditions etc

    Does your bank card have you phone number and medical needs on it?

    Laminate a few credit card sized cards yourself and stash them in your backpack, wallet and pockets.

    I use Road id for biking and running, don’t take a phone with me running.

    . The RoadID website gives suggestions, from memory, NKA, NMHX means no known allergies, no medical history.

    I checked them tail end of last year as had to update mine..
