    The suitable candidate must possess British Cycling Level 2 Track Cycling coaching award and have experience in coaching riders of all abilities on a banked track. The coach will be responsible for the safety of the riders booked into the sessions timetabled and will need to liaise with other coaching and velodrome staff. The role will require some administrative work particularly around the accreditation process. The coach will need sound judgment as to who is safe to ride the track. The successful candidate is expected to be a reflective professional, flexible, highly motivated and possess superb communication skills. This post is of a temporary nature for a period of up to 12 months.

    Location: Commonwealth Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, G40 3HY
    Salary: £21592.19 – £23241.95 (inclusive of Non Core Payment)

    You will be required to service and order spares for the fleet of track bikes, as well as controlling the access to private bike storage, issuing hire equipment and maintaining the wooden track. A knowledge of the maintenance of track and road bikes will be required, in addition possess the understanding of how to maintain the two stroke Derny motorbike would be desirable. You will be required to deal with customer hire requests and liaise closely with the coaching and velodrome staff in the safe operation of the velodrome. Possession of the British Cycling Level 2 Track Cycling coaching award would be desirable. The hours for these vacancies are 37 hours per week, Non standard hours (evenings and weekends)

    Salary: £18649.19 – £23242.95 (inclusive of Non Core Payment) pro rata for part time
