I'd go for the best frame you can get, Spesh, Trek, Cannondale, Giant, all decent frames with decent warranty back up. Try a few and get the best fit you can...

I've got the "original" C18 Planet X SL Pro Carbon.

Which company are is your scheme with> If it's halfords Planet X had stopped dealing with them, to much hassle or something. In turn if it is halfords their Boardmans are pretty good.

have a durace planet x carbon which was a grand at the time. 18 months later and probably 14000+ miles and i still love it, although since its my first road bike its taken nearly 15 months to finally get the ideal position. On my 2nd set of wheels but at £99 a pair its good value. Very lightweight fast bike and is used almost everyday of the year

scheme is run in conjunction with Halfords stores, enables employees to go to any of their 435 stores and choose exactly what they want (subject to a maximum limit of £1000). Not only that, but through our Special Order option non-Halfords bikes can also be sourced.
