Well here goes my first what tyre thread!
Now it’s the Cx season I am looking for some mud tyres and wanted to see what’s up.
Been racing Cx for the best part of 10 years and still consider myself to be an amateur of sorts at it!
Been riding Racing Ralph’s early season and last year was running Specialised Tracer in the mud tubeless.
Did not have much luck with tubeless with burps running 30psi on Mason hunt tubeless wheels.
This year thinking supple tyres with latex tubes but wanting confidence in the mud.
Thinking amateur here!
So total confidence in the mud what would you choose?
I know people want fast rolling but I am more concerned with grip and confidence!
Been looking at Challenge PDX,BOS and Clement Baby Limus open tubular.
What are you guys using.
