I am thinking of upgrading the brakes on my Norco Threshold. The ones on there are Hayes CX Comp with 160mm discs. I remember reading on the forum a while back that TRP Spyres are a good upgrade. Have been reading up on them and have so seen the TRP Spyre HY-RD brakes.

Are either of these the best upgrade option for not a huge outlay of money or are there better options out there?

Juin tech R1 are an alternative to trp, there have been a few threads on here about them. I put the on my threshold and they are night and day better than the oe cable discs
