Thinking of getting one of these cassettes for my cx and was looking at the 12-32 thinking the 32 maybe used as a bail out gear or am I kidding myself and better of getting the closer run of 12-28. I know its only the 16t thats different but kinda of thinking that might be more useful than the 32.

If you think you’ll need the 32 then buy that – it’s nice having 1T jumps on a road bike, no need on cx (unless you are after smaller jumps overall, which you aren’t)
