    Are people using the same sized bikes as their road bikes?

    Cheers, the cheaper Boardman CX bikes seem to have sold out in my size solooking at the Norco threshold at Evans, c1cm smaller than my roadbikes so should be ok

    1cm smaller should be fine. I take it you’ve measured the actual sizes rather than going on what the manufacturers say?

    I prefer the top tube a little shorter but they generally are on cx rather than road for the same frame size. If that makes sense

    Ie. 54 cannondale tt on cx is shorter than tt on road bike despite it being the same size so be careful when buying
