  • CV question. Bullets or paragraphs?

My wife's writing her CV but she's "overqualified" and "overexperienced". When we wrote all up it took some 4 pages of bullet points. Short of ditching some to make it less threatening what else can we do? I've been told to use paragraphs instead of bullets. Any truth in it?
    Thanks!

2 pages maximum, combination of paragraphs and bullet points – bulletpoints are good for lists of skills, but you want prose to describe a role.

I'm probably sounding like I'm on commission by now, but Perfect CV by Eggert is a good and to the point book 😆

only include the best bits/most relevant. no one wants to read four pages of self-flagellation

Get a few paragraphs in a cut down on what's included if possible (especially if your wife is overqualified there may be some things you don't need to mention but without seeing it and knowing the role it's difficult to say)
