Don’t forget to ensure the car is insured for business use (don’t put that in the CV, just a general observation).

If there’s a sure fire way to destroy cars, it’s doing deliveries. There’s a reason why most pizza delivery cars are old bangers!

I wouldn’t be using my own car for it, and I’d be making sure I was getting paid enough to cover car running costs (the AA’s guide is pretty accurate, but you’ll need to play with the figures a bit), before I’d even think about considering it.

I’d go with the ’rounded personality’ approach. Stick a couple of (sensible) hobbies to show that you’re not a complete social pariah, and obviously “I have a full clean driving licence”(delete where applicable) and stuff that’s relevant. So, essentially what you’ve put.

For a delivery job they’ll want “are you honest, are you trustworthy, can you get pizza to a customer without adding special sauce” and not much else so I wouldn’t sweat it too much. All the CV has to do is get you through the door to an interview and let’s face it, you’ll already stand out from the rest if your application isn’t in crayon.

    Good luck.

Turn up in a suit and a top hat to the interview. You’ll deffinatly get the job.

Suit is a good idea, but only wear a topper if your car has a sunroof (or you are a short arse), otherwise its a bowler hat.
