Is there a different method for cutting Carbon bars?? Or is it the same as aluminium i.e. pipe cutter or hack saw??

not a pipe cutter, it’ll splinter the carbon.

wrap in tape, fine toothed blade.

    try and do it outdoors.

I like to use a guide (old lock on grip or soemthing)to make sure I get a square cut – you can’t just file it square afterwards

But wear a mask if you are filing, especially in an enclosed space.

Ok thank you very much. Will try and find a fine toothed blade.

I use a bit of emery cloth instead of a file. Files can cause it to splinter at the ends.
