Check out keeper of the peak on twitter.

I predict it will be back to it’s usual boggyness after a fortnight of rain. Please don’t ride it if it is. When it’s dry it’s a cracking 2 hour out and back blast.

Be wary of the boggarts in the clough ! and the killer ducks at Fairholmes Cafe.
Worst bit about Cuttgate is riding the black top around the ressies to Fairholmes and back.

    So why do it?

Just bring a sarnie, stop at the bridge and have a rest. Turn round and go back

Take the track on the left at the stream and virtually no tarmac riding is involved in getting to Fairholmes.

Or do it on a week day and park at the end of the tarmac
