I’m thinking of getting some new 26″ wheels and I like the idea of Spank Oozy rims with a Hope Pro 2 Straight Pull hub but no one online seems to do custom wheels with Hope’s SP hub. Does anyone know of anywhere?

I may end up getting the Spank Oozy wheelset but like the idea of Hope hubs.

A word of warning; I’ve 2 sets of the Evo version of those hubs and recently my LBS chap had to buy a box of 72 spokes retail (from Winstanleys, eventually) so he could re-spoke my front wheel.

I’d broken two spokes, and when he replaced them with my spares, two others snapped – so we took the decision to replace the lot.

Couldn’t get the same ones from anywhere (Sapim, I think), so went with DT Swiss instead.

Was that the Spank wheelset you are talking about?
