    im pretty sure it would be as it would be sram mech with sran shifter and is also nice and lite also a short cage.

    SRAM rival is a road groupset so unless it’s a super light XC bike I doubt it.

    it will work, but only with a rival shifter, only the double tap flat bar would be viable. and it would need to be 10speed

    Plenty of dhers use road mechs (ultegra and dura ace, etc)

    Well the right shifter and block then yes, I know a few people that run road mechs on dh bikes, (didn’t Steve Worland or someone run a 10 speed set up for a while on his Epiphany?).
