what is the state of play in Brechfa forest today?
I was thinking of giving it rattle tomo but it's a long way to go if it's partly closed like it was (apparently) last week.

Is Cwmcarn all open too?

Cwmcarn is all open, as I rode round it tonight

Brechfa has been open as brother in law has been riding all week in prep for the race there on sunday

Brechfa Red route is officially closed, but after 6pm (or weekend, but not this Sunday) or so you will be OK. It is shut because they are logging on a few areas and using the fireroads. Singletrack is mostly unaffected.

Black/blue/green all open as usual and riding well.

Hmm, looks like cmncarn & afan before beers & a return to Afan on sat.

Was up there last night and the forestry guys were still using the machines at 8pm….

The Raven at Brechfa was open tonight and riding pretty well
Had looked to do the red route but there were signs up saying it was closed

Crotch might see you there – I'm planning to be at Cwmcarn about 10am tomorrow. Look out for a tarty blue On-One 456 with gold bars + bits, plus long Lyriks.
