Just wondering if any has any experience with these wheels in a 29 offering… Wondering what the tyres are like etc?

    Thanks

I had the 26″ version after (surprise surprise) destroying another rear wheel at a race.

It was the only 135×12 wheel the nearest bike shop had in so I went with it, despite my concerns it was a really solid wheel. I wouldn’t buy another one cos they’re pretty narrow but it lasted well and stayed true till my bike was nicked!

Wheels are good – a bit narrow compared to current trends, but not too bad. I have 2.4 tyres sitting fine on mine. They also go up tubeless very easily.
The Crossroc tyres are definitely dry weather only. I swapped to a WTB Trail Boss on the rear, and a Nobby Nic on the front.

Had mine for 4 months now in 29 inch, been ridden 3-4 times a week in the peaks. Still straight, true and the bearing are fine. Really good wheel.
