I’ve got a creak …tried all the usual suspect areas to no avail….I have a pg990 cassette which must be worn as its mashed a new xt change in about 3 weeks….it now almost fits in the chain checker……

I’ve tried new rear mech (bent), new front mech (old), new chain, checked bb, seatpost, rails, pedals, cranks, pivots, rear skewer etc…

    Could it be the cassete?

yep could be the cassette creaking on the free hub body.

New mech hanger too…..so you suggesting the cassete being worncould be the cause? Or the freehub itself? I greased the freehub its self, but as I said the cassete must be worn?

    oops sorry missed this.
no a new cassette can do it to just take the cassette of the freehub body and give everything a clean then put it all back together tighten the lockring see if that helps.
