I’ve come to replace the Xtype BB on my 06 Nomad and just need help checking that the spacer’s I have pulled off are correct for my frame.

I have doubts after reading the Race Face install instructions. Going from XT to XTR BB if that helps.

Basically I have 1 2.5mm BB spacer Driver side and 1 1mm spindle spacer (Black) drive side. There’s nothing on the race face install instructions for this combo, so have the cranks been installed incorrectly by the shop? Or should i just replace the same as before and go ride.

Sounds right for a 73mm shell.If you’re using RF cranks, they rely on the BB being an exact width, if it stiffens up when fully tightened, i’d recommend getting the shell faced or your new BB may not last too long.
