Just recieved some new ones, but the threads inside the shoulder straps are “fluffy” in places as if they’ve be stretched too far.

I’d just like to know if this is normal, I expect not for some £70 bibs, and I should probably return them…?

Yeah send them back for another pair, your right they have been stretched or caught. shouldn’t happen with those shorts.
