Couple of Dialled Bike Prince Albert questions.....

Currently riding a 15 inch Rock Lobster and have been happy with it for six years or so, but fancy trying a slightly longer travel, slacker hardtail.

The PA's look remarkably good value and seem to get excellent reviews.

Any shortarses riding the 15.5?
Am 5 foot 6ish, wondering how others find the standover.

Also, anyone using a 120mm fork with theirs?
Don't want to buy new forks, but can up the travel on current Rebas to 120.
Does it handle well at 120mm, not too steep?

If anyone has ridden the Lobster and the PA, would love to hear your thoughts comparing the two.

And can I see some pictures please?

I'm 5'11", ride a 17.5 and thinks it's a great frame. Mine's got 140mm Revelations on it, I think 120mm forks will be fine as I keep my fork pretty soft. The site says 120-140,

Not quite the answer you're after, but I've yet to hear of someone who doesn't like how they handle! Especially if you're going for the new 725 tubing, I've got 520.

Please don't start about the garden or the height of the seatpost (the garden was my previous housemate's domain and my seatpost is safely within it's limits)

I'm 5'4", and riding an MK1 small PA. They're fantastic! Mine's the incredibly over-engineered one with the brace across the front, but I love it. I run it with a 130mm travel Revelation, but its old and never sits at 130, so you should be fine with the rebas.

I am 5'7" and had the 15.5 PA. Fitted fine, and quite often I would have my U-Turn Sektors/Revs at 120mm and it was just peachy.

I also used to have a 853 RL a few years back. I think it might have been a touch too big for me as I went for the 17.5, but from my recollection it was defo more of a XC machine and it was nice to be able to run 140mm on the PA to help cover up my bad riding and appalling lines.

If I had the cash I would have kept both, but the PA was more that capable of being an all-rounder which softened the blow of selling the RL.

Why did you get rid Jamie, any specific issues?

I really fancy one of these, just for a change. Time to start saving & keep my eyes open for a s/h 725 one

5'11" and ride a small 520 frame. Have used Pikes on it and with them wound down it still felt great. Have actually ridden it with a 420mm rigid fork on it round Cannock and the Forest of Dean and it felt like an overgrown BMX and a lot of fun.....

I'm 5ft 7 and I have just got a new 725 15.5 in Kawasaki Green.

Great fit and an awesome ride. Got 100-140 U-Turn Sektors on mine currently set at 120 and it's perfect.

Another shout out to Mike @Dialled really helpful and obviously passionate about the brand.

Get one they are awesome.

Why did you get rid Jamie, any specific issues?

It got too much of a ball ache driving 2hrs to any decent riding, so sold the PA to go darkside /

I'm 5'6" and mine's the 15.5" 725 version, currently running it with an F120 15mm fork, Bonty wheels and some nice fat tyres.

Fits fine and handles nicely, not as nimble as the Soda it replaced in tight singletrack, but by god it's quick on rocky loose stuff

it will be quite different to a Rock Lobster
you might find that it feels a little dead in comparison

Mike is a top bloke, and very helpful! He's sorted me out with frame decals twice now, didn't ask for anything but sent him some beer tokens as a thank you.

Regret selling my PA, was a great bike (used 140mm revs).

Currently own a mk1 love/hate, which is also a really good frame.

If i had the space, I'd love to build up one of the new PA's, one for next year maybe?

Buy one, you won't regret it!

5ft 7 here but with short legs! and have no probs with standover. I normally run my revs at 120mm and only out to 140 for a lengthy descent.

Great frames and lovely to ride. Pic before starting the West Highland Way...

17" 725 version in green with 120mm forks, I'm 5 10
Fantastic Frame, the full sus is used very little now. Handles well with 120 forks
