Only 45 minutes away but we hardly ever ride there. Which may explain why we got lost so often 😉

Be back soon. Last time I’m sure we rode more of the Lecky DH trails. Seemed to be over really quickly this time. Saw a few riders out, couple helped us with directions.. if you’re on STW, thanks!

Prince William pub car park near Cranham. Ended up just short of 40km.

Nice. Did you track the ride as we’re moving near that area and could do with some pointers.

Cranham trails are bit harder to find on your own mind a few have been lost to felling.Easy to find the trails up lecky hill as it is quite a small area and the steep stuff is all together.

We had a GPS and I’d ridden a very similar ride last year so I kind of knew where we were going. There are so many trails in and around Cranham. Very tempting just to dive off on the next good one you see. My email is in profile, so if you drop me a mail I’ll send you what we did.

That looks like my local trails 🙂

Don’t venture onto Lecky as usually set out from Stroud and put a loop in. For me, i can max out a 40 mile loop (first 10 on road to get out to Birdlip), but its all good riding.

My local trails also – been living here 2 years and still haven’t explored all of Cranham properly. Thought cranham would be a bit muddy today, so I did a ‘straight out the front door’ small loop instead (but it was still muddy).

I grew up in the woods about 400 meters from the first pic. Was up that way last week, lovely.

Great glad it was useful. Did you ride that wall drop? (I didn’t!)
