Alwinton, Clenell St, Usway Burn, Pass Peth, Alwinton. Or the reverse?

I prefer the non reverse route. Worth noting Fairhaugh bridge is out following the Decemeber storms.

By the house in the woods? That might be an issue.

Yup that way is best, you can cross elsewhere.

I had thought it was high enough from the water so as not to be washed away. Tree falling on it will do it though!

Even betterer – Alwinton, Clennel street, Windy gyle, The Street, Barrowburn tea room, Uswayburn etc…..

Time is a factor in what will be a short visit to my parents. It always seems to be wet on the top too.

Don’t take my KOM’s on the Barrowburn descent.

It’s a very strange spot Fairhaugh bridge – only seen the White House being used once, despite doing the Middle Route a lot.

And then in September last year spotted a Pigs head in the river under the bridge…..weird?!

I think any and all KOMs will be safe from my break neck pottering about.

It’s my only one – so quite protective over it 🙂
