I would like to play them as normal but from the hard drive when I travel. I have tried copying them in various ways, both uncompressed and shrunk and with various programs, but the menu structure vanishes or the DVD player says it cannot read any of my attempts no matter how I prepare files before hand.

What program have you found to copy them across successfully?
