why? shits and giggles. got a SS but its a kona A FS jobbie... also have a 29er with a rohloff which i could run rigid with mud tyres.
but i want a CX too. cos it looks fun
plus i reckon it'd be good for round where i live, not too techy trails and quite a bity of road.lol @ flatboy

That ^ was the bike that got me into 'cross (and then back into mountain biking). It was reviewed in Cycling Plus in 2004 (?) and I fell in love. Never had enough folding to buy one though

Joe Nation I know what you mean I couldn't afford on back in 2004 and always wanted one, got the chance of buying this one off on-one earlier in the year. Great bike I love it though it does spend a lot of time on the road. Your Pompino is nice though must be one of the first I've seen with gears.

Mine is the cheap one (£750 I think) 'cause it needed to be under £1K for the bike-to-work scheme.

I'm 5' 10" (although I have VERY long arms) and I ride a 56cm Genesis Vapour.
It's on the larger side for me but it makes it very stable. I ride a 55cm road bike.
