If I convert my DT Swiss x430 rims to tubeless, do I need to use the DT Swiss conversion kit, or can I use another, or even go ghetto tubeless?

Also if I do use the official conversion kit, do I need to use UST tyres only, or can I use any type of tyre?

    Thanks.

i use stans yellow tape to just seal up the spoke holes on my dt x1800, works a treat with ust or non ust tyres
