    How-do

I have a pair of Chris King Classic mountain bike hubs built into wheels. I no longer use the wheels (for years now) and was thinking of getting the hubs laced to some road rims. My question is, is the shell of the rear hub the same as the road Classic? (I presume it is).

Also, I have seen an end cap for a 130mm rear axle, is it as easy as just replacing that or will it be a new axle?

    Thanks.

Yep that’s right. New end cap presuming these are the older axle type where the end cap and bearing adjustment ring thread on as separate parts.
