Does anyone know how to convert someone’s route that is on Strava to GPX ?

I’m using Viewranger which is set up for GPX files and I would like to follow someone’s routes from Strava.

You need to be a Strava premium member to download other peoples routes.

    Or

download strava gpx routes and segments – a how to guide

Does it work for whole routes as well as segments? The instructions just refer to segments.

Without being Premium, their Activity as one of your Routes. Then download your Route as GPX

As @jamiep says: Select the route then click the spanner icon on the left then chose “Create Route”.

When you do this Strava announces to the world that you have done so: “grannyjone has created the route fubar” but this new route is one of your routes so you can download it.

Thanks, these have worked. It is still a fiddly operation but it works. First I use the first website to convert the strava route into a CRS file. Then I use the second website to convert the CRS into a GPX. Fiddly but it works.
