Convert 15mm front axle to standard 9mm QR?

I’ve seen these adapters

however has anybody actually done it? will there be any play in the axle etc?

My SP dynamo hub came with something similar and it works just fine.

I’ve used one of those ^, and similar cheaper alternative from eBay for a few years on one bike, as above, it’s fine.
