I have a contour roam which i have set on the highest qulaity setting of 1080hd i think, my problem is that when i play back my films its like they are in slow motion, i guessing my lap top might no be powerfull enough to deal with tyhe high quality but not sure

Have you put the camera into 60 fps mode somehow?

no its set on 30fps

Use a different media player – like VLC. My brothers had the same issue when using QuickTime.

+1 for VLC.

Another factor is are you playing the video from the card in the camera or have you loaded the film to your laptop. The speed/bandwidth of the USB could be adding a further issue.
