Hi what other tyres are out there there similar to the Continental Speed King with low rolling resistance yet also cope wellish in mud (summer use)

i found the speed king really quite draggy on tarmac, but good in the woods.

but yes ralphs are nice (esp the big ones)

I second speed kings being really draggy on the road, and the rear wears fast (from road use), great off road and really rate them.

Ralphs or Rocket Rons, which are lighter than Ralphs, but more grippy. Also more fragile.

Thanks all, I think I’m tempted by the speed kings protections 🙄

Huh? You asked for alternatives, and then go with the original product?!

More Fragile does not seem a good choice?

Ralphs are shite in any king of gloop/mud.

Nevegal/blue groove are a good choice in place of speedkings. they dont corener as well unless you really roll the bike over though.

Kenda Small block 8s are pretty good on anything except wet grass. They’re super fast and clear surprisingly well.

ralphs are ok in wet mud but i agree no good in gloop.

bluegroove nevegal are a world away from speedkings imo.
