    Good morrow all

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of contesting a will?

What grounds can you contest on, cost, time frames, process etc.

Can’t go into too much detail in public so to speak but suffice to say I was a significant beneficiary of a will which was then changed a few weeks prior to the death of the person concerned.

Any advice or pointers would be gratefully received.

Sorry for your position . google ‘inheritance provision for family and dependents act’ that is basically the starting point for family and dependents who feel the will has not made adequate provision for them . Otherwise it is challenging undue influence or capacity at the time of alteration. Have you legal expenses cover our any house insurance ?
There was a thread on this a few weeks ago to which I made a massive cut and paste contribution.

    Thanks CB

It would likely be the capacity route I think but will have a forage for the other thread (unless of course you have the link to hand 😉
