I got a Sansa MP3 player from Amazon in February and an in car charger from Amazon marketplace not long after. The car charger has gone to pot resulting in the MP3 player over heating and no longer working. Is the seller of the charger responsible for replacing the player? Do Amazon have any responsibility for other sellers on Amazon?

As a generalism, that would be considered "consequential loss" and would be beyond the responsibility of the charger supplier.

How so druidh? Doesn't consequential loss need to be explicitly excluded?

SoG Act says that consequential loss can be covered, most product warranties I've seen (try to) exclude it.
