Bought my son a chilli peppers ticket for the SECC and confirmation email had this stipulation on it

In order to stop tickets being re-sold at higher than face value prices through secondary markets and ticket touts, entry on the night will only be given to ticket holders who have the original payment card used to make the booking along with the confirmation/receipt containing the same corresponding payment cardholders details. All tickets purchased together on one payment card must arrive at venue together with the cardholder.
The cardholder must enter the venue also – tickets are non-transferable.

Now I only bought him one ticket so how does he get in?

    He doesn’t but you do.

He gets your credit card for the night?

That was the one I was worried about.
Just as well he didn’t ask his mum to get it.

I guess he’ll need the PIN too
    (for ID purposes only obviously)

Never had my card checked when something like that’s in the t&c, mostly they just scan the tickets bar code now.

I guess they might check but can you imagine how long that would take?

A letter with the last four digits of your card written on the back of a printout of the email should suffice. That’s what I did this morning to send Son1 into Thorpe Park
