By ‘pacify’ do you mean: invade, kill loads of people, destabilise, then walk away saying ‘our work is done’ and leave country to implode?

Presumably, as having a forces history is not on the list of ‘protected characteristics’ as defined by the Equalities Act, then the boss is free to refuse jobs to people as he likes?

I’ve worked with a few ex services folk.

Only think I’ve noticed is a terrible habit of playing disgusting practical jokes with your packed lunch. 🙂
I assume this is something they’re taught during basic training.
