Do you think the figures are any different in England, Wales or Ireland?

I for one won't be cheering on Englands opponents. That would involve watching football on the tele 🙄

I've pointed it out before. Most of our very best cyclists, are Scottish.
Track and road in particular seem to allow the Scottish people to excel.

Chris Hoy, Robert Millar, Graham Obree, Mark Beaumont, David Miller, Caroline Alexander, Craig Maclean, Danny MacAskill all to name but a few.

Obviously they have to be taught how to speak properly so they can fit in with polite society but they must be doing something right to produce so many champions.

Most of those bikes are hanging in my garage. I can only use one at a time… The wife reminds me of that regularly 😀

Just look at the amount of age group british XC champions who are scottish then you'll get an idea….

More unused bikes means cheaper bikes for us lot, but seeing as I'm English I'll be screaming at Frank Lampard and co.

Think Caroline Alexander raced for Scotland in the Commonwealth games.

Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were British, and we are happy for them to be so, everyone else born in Scotland is Scottish
