Your hero Henson isn’t going to be happy is he?

Still making noises about wanting to play at 10 & Sarries go & sign a dedicated fly-half in Charlie Hodgson?
How many dedicated 10’s do they have now?

Reading Samoa are my local team so I suppose its not all bad.

Henson will never be a 10. Apparently did Ok yesterday till he went off, I’m hopeful he may feature for Wales in the pre world cup summer games.

Adam Jones being injured is a major blow for Wales, he the one Welsh player who is completely irreplaceable.

one and he’s injured, Farrel is more of a 10-12 too I believe. Charlie boy doesnt arrive till next season and Hensons contract is up at the end of this one.

True, Henson is a centre & – with an attitude adjustment – could be a very good fullback but not FH. Will Henson stay with Sarries? Can’t see it TBH & i can’t see O’s wanting him back with him being so divisive.

He can cover full back but lacks the pace to defend well out wide, which is doubt one of the reasons he’s struggled at 13 for Sarries thus far, he’s also play maker and excellent passer and not a strike runner .If Henson comes back to form Sarries will certainly want to keep him he’d be a big asset to any club if he’s playing well. Jury is still out and its a big if. I loves him though even if only because he properly annoys so many England supporters!

I notoce that Mongo seems to have sewn up the first choice 8 position at Wasps, now who was it on here who was telling me he was shit and wouldnt get in the team ahead of Dan WardSmith?

Yeah 16 appearances and a single try against 14 appearances and 2 tries. Proper sewn up, that 😳
Wasps seem to have bought out something that nobody else has in Mongo though and he is playing well.
Oh and well done on todays result mate really pleased for you.

Thanks, so the Lions tourist still isnt as good as Dan Ward Smith then? Tell me how many of those appearances for Ward Smith have been at 6 with Mongo at 8?

Of course I’m forgetting that any welsh player playing well in the mighty Aviva premierships is only doing so as the English yeomen have trained them up 😀

Oh do be quiet. It wasn’t so long ago you were spouting your normal crap that every england player on the lions tour was rubbish, so don’t get all “he was lions so must be great”. Do you need reminding of what you said about worsley?
Lack consistency. Must try (!) better.

If ‘doing ok’ means ‘doing nothing apart from a single long kick and a knock on’, then yes, he did ok. He looked rather unsurprisingly like a player who hasn’t seen a rugby ball for almost two years.

If he wasn’t a celebrity, I think that there would be questions as to why Sarries were playing such a second rater. His positioning in defence at the moment is very questionable and will be a huge worry if Wales are stupid enough to pick him.

He’s nowhere near good enough to feature in the 6Ns based on yesterday.

Anyway, the Ospreys played at their normal level of cackhandedness today. My very local team and they make me angry almost every time I watch them. No identifiable tactics (apart from maybe boring the other team to death), no passion, no flair and worryingly no real skill under pressure any more. They deserve to be knocked out based on today.

I had to walk the dogs past the Liberty Stadium just to glare at it after the match!

Of course the Ospreys have a tactic, its called throw it to Shane….. oh hang on!!

Not seen Henson play but read the paper and they said he showed some nice touches, as I said if he shows some form the welsh pre world cup games are a realistic target for him..

Do you need reminding of what you said about worsley?

Something along the lines of his man marking of Roberts was a tactical disaster despite him doing what he does quite well which is tackle. He’s an honest good player but limited at the very top level which is why he has never been much of a regular for england.

Powell was wasps man of the match recently wasnt he? Shit today though like the rest of them

Unfortunately you seem to be the speaker of truth (in this case).

No, honestly a_a, Henson has looked pants in his appearances so far. A few nice touches don’t make him the player he was.

a few nice touches show some promise though, I mean remember Leigh Davis he never managed that on his return!!

Anyway I’m off to bed as the baby is sleeping, I will leave Backhnader to ponder how Dan WardSmith never got many england caps, which is truely shocking given that he’s a Kiwi

Noneed to ponder. He broke his leg shortly after his call up and missed his chance.

‘It’s good for the game that someone like Gavin is back involved and he played well,’ he said.

‘He looked sharp and picked some great lines of running before he went off with the injury.

    said whom?

In other News, Adam Jones…. thats wales fecked
