While the part required a particularly understated performance, his afforts were let down by (a) a weak script and (b) the film being over-styled throighout (Tom Ford’s fault).

I am capable of discerning between stylised and lacking in content, and stylised and having some depth to it.

I don’t doubt it’s a beatiful visual experience (which it was), but the content – for me – just wasn’t there.

A decent guy with integrity – to stand up and say he no longer supports the LibDems because of their dishonest 2 faced behaviour.
