I’ve has one of these for years now, its the twin burner that runs on unleaded petrol or Coleman fuel. It always seems to get glowing reviews and on the whole it has been very good; it puts out a massive amount of heat and can boil a kettle of water in no time at all. But…..mine seems to be poor at cooking at low settings. If you turn it right down for, say, cooking rice, you get an orange flame appearing at the junction between the generator tube and the manifold then eventually a “pop” and the stove goes out.
My suspicion is that they are all like this and a bit over-hyped in reviews. Anyone else experienced this?
