depends on what riding you do.

Depends – coil front and back on my Enduro, air front and back on my Epic.

depends on how much you have to spend. Coil always works but gets bouncy when the damping goes.

Air on all bikes, dual air infact 😆

air = convenient spring rate changes, light weight
coil = more consistent, more linear (may or may not be a benefit depending on the rate of your frame), less stiction as less seals required

    Why Coiler of course!

I like air forks. Really easy to adjust on the fly, and disassembling forks scares me. I don't think I could actually run coil forks as rock shox don't make a coil weight stiff enough for my mass 😆

Coil front and back on a Patriot LT. Hassle free.

I went from air totem forks to coil and they felt beautiful. I'd love to run coil front and back on all bikes but they weight too much. unless air gets a hell of a lot better.

Air in my tyres. Unsprung elsewhere.

There is a time and place for air but my general preference is defiantly coil. I had air Totems but there now converted to coil. Coils are reliable, give great sensitivity and most importantly for me consistent.

Never ridden an air rear shock I thought was good – a couple have been "ok". Air forks on the other hand I'm fairly OK with. In fact the 2010 Fox 36 Talas RC2 I tried yesterday I was really impressed by. Not as utterly buttery smooth as my Lyrics, but really not bad at all.
